Implementation stage

A project for a couple inspired by life in Copenhagen and the aesthetics of Scandinavian interiors.
We avoided the obvious associations with white walls and pale wood — and instead created a calm, layered space where every element speaks to tactility, atmosphere, and thoughtful selection.

The base consists of a light, natural palette, enriched by expressive wood textures and muted olive accents. These tones appear in the tiles, textiles, and some furniture pieces, visually linking the zones. We paid close attention to material contrasts: small-format tiles, light wood, matte and textured surfaces create a subtle yet expressive rhythm.

Lighting became a key part of the concept. We replaced nearly all ceiling lighting with a considered system of local sources — wall sconces, table and floor lamps. Most of the lighting is by Scandinavian brands such as Ferm Living, New Works, and Audo — each piece not just a light source, but a design object with character.

To add comfort, we introduced a modest layout change: expanding the bathroom and adding a walk-in wardrobe in the bedroom.

The result is a warm, intimate, and composed space with quiet character — a subtle nod to true Scandinavian aesthetics, where materials matter, but so do the rhythm of light, air, and silence.
